Brandy is a heated type of wine. It emerged when Dutch sailors tried to boil wine while transporting it on ships to prevent it from spoiling. They named this type of wine as burnt wine due to the intense alcohol smell and different taste that occurs when the wines are boiled before being transported by sea in hot weather. At the same time, when the French saw that the wines made from grapes grown in bad fields were not consumed, they produced wines called Brandy by boiling these wines with the same method and adding various spices to make them more delicious. In this way, the remaining wines that were not appreciated were re-blended and offered for sale.

We recommend that you drink expensive and high quality Brandy types neat, not in cocktails. The reason for this is that really high-quality Brandy drinks taste amazing and you cannot taste this taste when you add it to a cocktail. We do not recommend consuming brandy wine as mulled wine after purchasing it. Because boiling wine that has been boiled once will cause a deterioration in both its taste and density. It would be better to serve it in slightly warmed glasses.

Brandies produced in Turkey are known as Kaynak and Truva. You can drink it sweeter by adding apple peel to it before drinking, softening it by creating a precipitate with calcium. The better the brandy wine varieties in terms of quality, the more taste they give. We do not recommend drinking cheap Brandy wines.
