Story about White Russian

What is a White Russian?
The White Russian is a rich, sweet and creamy vodka cocktail that’s as easy to make as it is to fall in love with.
Here’s the best recipe to make this “naughty milkshake” from home!
Where was the White Russian Invented?
Sorry to let you down, but not in Russia. This drink is actually a variation on a cocktail known as the Black Russian which was invented in Brussels.
What does the White Russian taste like?
Rich and creamy with sweet, nutty notes of coffee coming through from the Kahlúa. Kinda like a boozy coffee milkshake!
Is the White Russian a good drink?
One of the best, but that’s just like my opinion man.
When would you drink a White Russian?
This is a perfect dessert cocktail, but also a go-to for movie themed parties.
“It really ties the room together” if you know what we mean.
What’s in a White Russian?
A White Russian contains Kahlúa (a coffee liqueur), Vodka and heavy cream. However, in recent years, some bartenders have started swapping the cream for milk, which creates a lighter cocktail that can be served in a highball glass rather than the traditional rocks glass.
If you don’t do dairy, this recipe works perfectly well with dairy-alternatives! We usually reach for unsweetened cashew milk, but experiment with different options to find whatever works best for you!
What’s the difference between a White Russian and a Black Russian?
The Black Russian doesn’t contain any dairy. Add cola instead and you’ve got yourself a Dirty Black Russian! Definitely a must try for the sweet-tooth.
How do you make a White Russian?
Traditionally, the ingredients are layered directly in the glass with vodka and Kahlúa on the bottom and cream carefully floated on top. Don’t worry if you mess up though. Whether it’s layered or stirred up, it’s still gonna taste awesome.
Cocktail Hack: Shake The Cream
If you’re looking to elevate your version of this cocktail above anyone else’s, you’ll want to shake the cream a bit before you add it to the drink. That fluffy, almost whipped cream consistency is going to blow you away.

If you’re into her more famous cousin, The Amaretto Sour, you have to try this one! Sure, Kahlúa sour might sound like a bit of a weird combo, but trust us when we say that this one’s a keeper!

The Coffee with Gianni is Rico’s very own take on the classic breakfast combo of coffee and grapefruit! Okay, we know this one sounds weird too, but this cold-brew cocktail is mind blowingly awesome and definitely a must try if you’re into coffee drinks.
